Ewa Korzeniewska graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Automatics at the Lodz University of Technology in Poland in 1995. She is an assistant professor at the Institute of Electrical Engineering Systems at the Department of Materials Science and Measurement Systems. Her fields of interest in science are connected to materials engineering and textronics.

Topic and title of lecture: Textronic sensors

Short description/abstract of lecture (300 characters):

The textronics or e- textiles are used to indicate the textiles structures which allow to integrate electronic circuit with fabrics and can respond to changes in environment. These wearable electronic systems are designed to apply them in the healthcare, military, sports, tourism and consumer fitness fields. The goal of the presentation is to focus on recent knowledge in the field of Smart Textiles.
