Next to the Institute of Energy Technology building, the Faculty of Energy Technology manages a field of nine photovoltaic dual-axis tracking systems. Eight of these trackers are controlled by a predefined algorithm that maximizes system efficiency. One of the trackers is manually controlled and intended for research work. The generated electricity is used for the needs of the Institute of Energy Technology, and the excess electricity is transmitted to the grid. The total rated power of the photovoltaic power plant is 50kW.
