Faculty of Energy Technology study programmes
Faculty of Energy Technology is one of the younger members of University of Maribor. University of Maribor is the second largest Slovene university and has seventeen faculties.
All courses of the Faculty of Energy Technology, University of Maribor (FET) are in line with the Bologna Declaration, which allows a high degree of electives. Student can choose a part of coursework in the areas of: Hydropower, Thermal energy, Nuclear energy, Alternative Energy and Universal Energy. FET programmes are tailored to the needs of the economy, which was also involved in preparation of the curriculum. Study is carried out in the energy environments where students can be in direct contact with large energy systems.

Recognition of Foreign Education for the Purpose of Further Education
Recognition of Foreign Education for the Purpose of Further Education at the UM
Candidates who prove admission requirements with foreign previous education and wish to continue their education at the University of Maribor must, in accordance with the Assessment and Recognition of Education Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 87/11, 97/11. - ex. and 109/12), obtain the Decision on recognition of foreign education for the purpose of further education at the University of Maribor.
The procedure for recognition of foreign education can only be initiated by submitting an online application form for enrolment via the eVŠ web portal. The online application for enrolment also serves as an application for the initiation of the procedure for recognition of foreign academic qualifications. Candidates who submit an incomplete application or application for recognition of education for the purpose of continuing education will individually receive additional information on the request and the deadline to supplement the application by regular mail or electronically via the eVŠ web portal.
Candidates are recommended to begin the process of recognition in a timely manner. The deadline for issuing a decision on the recognition under the Act on the Recognition and Assessment of Education (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 87/2011, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 97/2011 - corr. and Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 109/2012) is two months from the receipt of a complete application.
