The International Scientific Committee and the Local Organising Committee are pleased to invite you to participate in the 7th International Conference Energy and Responsibility – EnRe, which will take place on 19 May 2026 in Velenje, at the Faculty of Energy Technology, University of Maribor.
In a period of intensive energy transitions and climate challenges, the year 2035 is recognised as a key milestone for achieving climate neutrality and sustainable development goals. The conference will be focused on the vision of the future of the energy sector in Slovenia and beyond, the restructuring of coal regions, the development of hydrogen technologies, digitalisation and cyber security in the energy sector, and the strengthening of energy communities and local initiatives. The event will bring together researchers, experts, decision-makers and industry representatives who will present their contributions, projects and strategies for a sustainable energy future. The conference will take place in the form of roundtables, thematic sessions and interactive discussions.
